As globalization progresses today, there is a strong demand for human resources who can work internationally with engineering expertise and practical abilities, while understanding the development issues, environmental problems and cultural backgrounds of different countries. The Nagoya University Civil and Environmental Engineering Group offers two programs, Forefront Studies Program and NUGELP (Nagoya University Global Environmental Leaders Program). These programs provide students with opportunities to experience lectures on cutting-edge expertise, special lectures by practitioners, internships, and study tours in English with international atmosphere. One third of the master students in our group are international students from Asia, Africa and other diverse countries. Over 250 alumni of our program are now working all over the world.
